TOPICS

Salvation

Receiving salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important decision anyone can ever make in their lifetime because it effects their eternity. It is therefore extremely important that you know where you stand in regard to salvation. In this class you will learn what salvation is, why it is necessary, how to know you are saved and what happens after you are saved.

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greeks.” - Romans 1:16

Holy Spirit

Just before Jesus went to the cross, He said some pretty amazing things to His disciples. He was very open about the fact that He was going away: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth, It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7 When Jesus spoke of the Helper in the above verse, He was referring to Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is the very Spirit of God. Having Jesus on earth was AMAZING, but this class will teach you that having Holy Spirit living within us is even better!

Devotional Life

In order to grow in our relationship with God we need to spend time with Him. “Abide in Me (Jesus), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5. This class will teach us the importance of learning to abide in Jesus!

Worship

Although worshipping God through music and singing is important, it is only an expression of worship. Worship is not just something we do, but worship is more of an attitude of our heart that is then expressed through our singing and praising. Worship is a heart thing. Yes, we are commanded to worship, but it should not feel like an obligation. Come learn how worship can become a natural outflow of our relationship with God; an automatic response to His goodness to us and our love for Him! “Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” Psalms 29:2

Fellowship

“They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42 The Church began, not just with a devotion to teaching and prayer, but also to Fellowship. Fellowship was a BIG DEAL to the early church and it should be just as important to us today! Come learn about Fellowship in scripture and how it can benefit every aspect of your walk with the Lord.

Stewardship

Scripture tells us that God is the Creator and Owner of all things and the giver of every blessing. “The earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.” Psalm 24:1 When we get saved we make a declaration that Jesus is our Lord, that we are no longer our own, that we belong to Him and will follow His commands. It is important that we live our lives knowing that everything we have has been given to us by God. He wants us to enjoy what he has blessed us with, but at the same time we need to realize that we have a responsibility to be good stewards of those things: our time, gifts, talents and possessions.
