As Moses ascended the mountain and dwelled in the Glory of the Lord, join Simchat Yisrael and Gateway Christian Fellowship as we ascend together to pray and fellowship through the Ten Days season.

12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

- Matthew 23:12

Help us to become more humble and more thoughtful of others. May we never think less of ourselves but think more of You. May humility be the foundation upon which we build ourselves up in Your image.

September 8, 2019 - September 14, 2019

9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

- 2 Corinthians 7:9-10

Give us a heart of repentance. In humility, we lay our failings at Your feet and ask forgiveness for the wrongs we have done against You and against those to whom we should be loving. May our repentance lead to true transformation and renewal of spirit.

September 15, 2019 - September 21, 2019

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

- Ephesians 4:31-32

Guide us as we seek to mend wounds we have caused to our brothers and sisters. Help us to forgive those who have injured us. With repentant hearts, we seek to repair what has been damaged and strengthen our bonds with each other and with You.

September 22, 2019 - September 28, 2019

12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

- 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

As You repair our relationships and heal our wounds, help us now to work towards unity amongst all who believe, that we may be one in our Messiah, embracing and celebrating each other as many members of one body.

September 29, 2019 - October 5, 2019

4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow,
    like poplar trees by flowing streams.
5 Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;
    others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
    and will take the name Israel.

- Isaiah 44:4-5

As a unified body, we come together to speak life into our communities, our cities, our schools, our nation, and beyond. As you have transformed us, Lord, transform our nation from the inside out, and make us a new creation in Messiah!
