If you are wondering why your Christianity is mundane and boring it’s probably because you haven’t stepped into the most thrilling and exciting ride of your life: The Great Commission”.

For most of us, the scariest thing to do as a Christian is to actually have to share the greatest love story ever told with a complete stranger. We all had to face that same challenge. We all had to step out of our comfort zones and put our faith into practice.

We want to extend the opportunity to you to overcome your fear and share the Good News of Jesus Christ surrounded by friends and family. Christianity will never be the same!

Below is the latest update on some of our domestic and international missionaries and missions organizations. Despite an international pandemic, the power of the Gospel to transform lives remains unshakeable and unchangeable. And, the determination of our missionaries to see the testimony of Jesus continue to spread far and wide continues to be a non-negotiable in their lives!

Update from Ukraine

The Ukrainian Pastor the Packs have worked with has seen so much human tragedy, injured and even deceased civilians on the streets in many cities and villages as well as massive indiscriminate destruction of homes and infrastructure since February 24. He indicated he becomes overwhelmed with all that he has seen and the stories Ukrainian refugees have shared. Many Ukrainians have not been able to process the tragedies they have experienced...losing their homes and all of their worldly possessions as well as many seeing their own family members killed, raped and/or tortured.

Pastor and his team are in the process of renovating a large room for counseling of these precious traumatized Ukrainians.

Pastor just sent an update on activities of his team since the war began on February 24.

  1. He has received, processed and delivered over 230 tons of humanitarian aid to all parts of Ukraine including the war zone.

  2. He and his team have assisted over 90,000 refugees/displaced Ukrainians including transportation from the war zone, humanitarian aid, temporary housing and transport to temporary medical clinics.

  3. Established 5 warehouses in different large cities to receive and store and distribute humanitarian aid.

  4. A team of 15 volunteers assist this weary pastor with all aspects of humanitarian aid assistance.

  5. A temporary settlement community in western Ukraine has been established using an existing school which has been remodeled extensively for refugees and displaced citizens of Ukraine.

  6. A settlement in one large city in western Ukraine established and has enabled temporary housing for over 410 people.

  7. Five (5) repair, renovation projects in refugee settlements including installation of new showers, washing machines and dryers installed.

  8. 71,000 copies of the New Testament in the native language have been received and distributed within Ukraine.

Pastor sends his heart-felt thanks to Gateway and others for their valuable support...both in finances but also with prayer support. He will continue to work with humanitarian aid activities but adjust his schedule and activities as the needs change. He currently has a small congregation in his previous city as well in a city in western Ukraine. He and his will shift focus and more emphasis to spreading the gospel in villages and cities in western Ukraine as he continues his current work.

“Meanwhile, the eleven disciples were on their way to Galilee, headed for the mountain Jesus had set for their reunion. The moment they saw him they worshiped him. Some, though, held back, not sure about worship, about risking themselves totally. Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”
